Overview
The “Deposits” tab is where ACH related items are listed after being entered elsewhere in the software, such as direct deposit personnel payroll, a/p payments listed as vendor ach, paycards being funded via ACH, and pre-notes for testing formats.
Detail
To create an ACH file (referred to as batches):
-Select the office
-Select the bank
-Select Personnel Type
-Select Check Type
-Enter the start and end date
-Check the Show All Unprocessed check box, if applicable
-Click search
-Right click in the grid
All results displayed in the grid will be included in the ACH File
If an item was mistakenly processed in payroll and is listed on this screen, it would need to be voided to not be included in the batch.
-Select Create ACH File
...
-Select the settlement date
...
-Save the file locally to your computer
Once saved, the items move from the create batchtab to the historical batches tab.
If a batch ever needs to be re-created:
-Select the file
-Right click on the batch
-Select recreate file
Clicking on the batch will also display the associated batch details below.
