Overview

The “Details” tab is where all of the validation rules are entered for each Authorization. Each authorization can be marked to have payroll and/or vendor payments dollar and/or unit maxes set by daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and fiscal year. Service codes can be added to an authorization to limit the service codes that are being paid out of that authorization. The “Details” tab also has 4 sub tabs: Transactions, Check List, Limits, Codes.

To enter Insert an authorizationAuthorization:

  1. Click Insert

  2. Check the box next to

    1. Payroll if payroll payments are acceptable

    Check the box next to
    1. AP if vendor payments are acceptable

    Check the box next to
    1. Statement if the authorization should appear on the Account Statement Report

    Check the box next to
    1. Repeat if the authorization should be included in the Repeating process

  3. Select the Consumerfrom the drop down field

  4. Complete all Required Fields

  5. Click Save

Transactions Sub-tab

The “Transactions” tab is where you set the dates and amount for the authorization. To add a transaction, right click and select add transaction, enter in the required fields, and click save.

To Insert a Transaction:

  1. Right Click and select Add Transaction

  2. Enter the Start Date, End Date, Dollars, and Units

  3. Complete the optional fields

  4. Click Save

Check List Sub-tab

The “Checklist” tab is where you can add items that have to be marked completed before the selected authorization can be used.

To Modify Check List Items:

  1. Right Click in the white area, or on the desired Checklist Item

  2. Select one of these options

    Click mark completed to stamp an item as completed with your name and timestamp

    Click reset item to revert the item to incomplete

    Click reload items to load any recently created checklist items

  3. Click Save

Limits Sub-tab

The “Limits” tab is where you can add more finite restrictions to the authorization fund usage, giving it an amount usage by date vs a general period.

To Add Limits:

  1. Right Click in the white grid

  2. Select Add Row

  3. Enter Start Date

  4. Enter End Date

  5. Complete the applicable fields

  6. Click Save

Codes Sub-tab

The “Codes” tab is where codes and the selected authorization are linked.

To Remove Limits:

  1. Navigate to the Limits tab

  2. Right Click in the white grid

  3. Select Remove Row

  4. Click OK

  5. Click Save

Remember that the code must be added to the consumer> service code tab before you can select it in this location.
