The “Required Taxes” tab is meant to be used for location-based taxes . For example, with as some taxing authorities , there are required taxes that need require taxes to be withheld from an employee’s check based on where they are preforming the service, which is generally where the Consumer resides. When payroll is calculatecalculated, any employee’s that have turned in hours for that Consumer will have that deduction calculated and withheld from their pay.

To add a Consumer Specific deductionDeduction:

  1. Click Insert

  2. Select the Deduction from the Deduction drop down menu

  3. Click Save

Remember that the deduction must exist in the management module> deduction tab.
