The update for Arborsoft is now live. This update includes features that refine the document upload process, additional batch authorization functionality, and more. The details of this update are below:

Employee Module:

The Employee “Hire Date” field was removed from the employee module and is now stored on the consumer/employee level. This is due to the possibility of an employee having multiple hire dates as they can be hired to work for many consumers. You can find the below fields in the Consumer module> Employees tab.

  1. Hire Date

  2. Rehire Date

  3. E-Verify Date

  4. W4 Date

  5. Term Date

  6. Approval Date

  7. I9 Date

The ability to search by address, phone, and email were added.

The update has combined the employee payroll sub-tabs so they’re no longer split between “2019” and “2020 or greater”, and are all listed in the upper area. This area only supports the editing and inserting of the 2020 W4 format, though you can still view the 2019 information you will not be allowed to make changes to the information.

Payroll Module:

You can now store documents at the payroll batch level by using the new “Documents” tab. Remember that document storage must be configured by Carvin Software. We’ve also added a “No Authorization” check box, this will allow payroll to be processed without an authorization being selected.

We’ve added a “GL” tab, which allows you to quickly export deduction information.

The format of the time in the payroll module now allows you to enter 11:59:59 into the time field correcting many rounding issues.

Consumer Module:

The ability to search by phone, group #, address, and email were added.

We added additional optional tracking fields for consumers.

We added a “Drive” checkbox and an “E-Verify” date to the Consumer/Employee relationship screen.

We’ve added the “Business” and “Relationship” fields to the Consumer “Contacts” tab.
