Instructions

Create a user in Staffing Complete

  1. Navigate to the Setup Module

  2. Click on the User tab

  3. Click on the User Account

  4. Click Insert

  5. Complete all required fields on the general tab

    1. Enter the desired user name

      1. We recommend using a standard schema (I.E. firstname.lastname or firstnamelast initial)

      2. The username and password are what’s used for logging in

    2. Enter the desired password

      1. You can use a generic password and click the box “User must change password at next logon.

    3. The username and password are what’s used for logging in

    4. Enter the Users Full Name

      1. the full name is what’s displayed for displaying user related actions

    5. Select the Home Office from the drop down

      1. The home office is the office they’ll default and possibly be restricted to

    6. Select the Time Zone

      1. The time zone is set for schedule related functionality

    7. Enter the Check Amount Limit

      1. This will limit the check amount this user can cut in the payroll module. If there is no limit, check the box unlimited

    8. Daily TXTs

      1. If you would like the user to have a limit on how many texts the user can send daily, enter that here. If there is no limit, check the box unlimited

    9. Weekly TXTS

      1. If you would like the user to have a limit on how many texts the user can send weekly, enter that here. If there is no limit, check the box unlimited

    10. Send TXT Cap

      1. If you would like the user to have a limit on how many texts the user can send, enter that here. If there is no limit, check the box unlimited

  6. Some fields that are not required, but are mentionable:

    1. If a security code is entered here, the user will be required to enter the code when cutting checks in the payroll module

    2. Link personnel in order to take advantage of time clock functionality

    3. If this user has a role assigned, you will want to assign it here. Note: If a role is assigned here, the role permissions will supersede the individual permissions set in the individual user account.

  7. Click save

  8. Switch to the Module tab

  9. Check all boxes next to the modules you would like the user to have access

  10. Click save

  11. Switch to the Permissions tab

  12. Go through each sub tab and check the boxes next to the permissions you would like the user to have.

  13. Click Save

  14. Switch to the Defaults tab

  15. If there is a default Ticket printer, enter the printer name here

  16. If there is a default Check printer, enter the printer name here

  17. If there is a default Report printer, enter the printer name here

  18. If there is a default Invoice Printer, enter the printer name here

  19. If you do not want any printers selected as default, leave the fields blank

  20. Click Save

  21. Switch to the Reminders Tab

  22. Right Click in the white space

  23. Click Add Reminder

  24. Select the reminder you would like to add to the user

  25. Repeat this process for all reminders for this user

  26. Click Save

  27. Switch to the Reports tab

  28. Right click in the white space

  29. Select

    1. Add All – to add all reports for user access

    2. Add – to add individual reports for user access

  30. Click Save

  31. Switch to the Schedule tab

  32. Make sure the work schedule radio button is set to on

  33. Select the work schedule for this user

    1. Note: by adding a work schedule it will restrict the user to only be able to clock in during their schedule.

  34. Click Save

  35. Switch to the Remote Access tab

  36. If you would like to restrict access to certain remote IP address,

    1. Click the only allow software access from the following white-listed IP address

    2. Check the box next to the approved IP addresses

  37. Click Save
