Time Entry

The “Time Entry” sub-tab is where the time is entered for the highlighted employee in the above area. Though you’ll typically want to use the time in and time out fields to generate the hours, you can check the override box to manually enter in the hours instead. You can also check the ot exempt box should you want to enter more than 40 hours without triggering an overtime error.

  • Override allows you type in the hours vs selecting time in and out

  • OT Exempt allows you to enter more than 40 hours without triggering Overtime

  • Show Balances will show you the Authorization Dollar and Unit Balance

  • Type is the pay type

Detail

To Add Hours:

  1. Right click and select Add Hours

  2. Select the Authorization and Code in the new field

  3. Enter in the Time In and Time Out

  4. Click Save

Having “Show Balances” box selected as you enter hours may slow time entry to refresh the balances
